Langtang Gosainkunda Trek
Combine the deep glacial Langtang valley with the high sacred lakes of Gosainkunda
Overview
“A trek is a journey of the soul, where each step reveals nature’s secrets and every trail leads to self-discovery.”
Embark on the Langtang Gosaikunda Trek, a pilgrimage that unfolds the Himalayas’ natural and spiritual wonders. The trek leads you through ancient Buddhist settlements, rhododendron forests, and high-altitude meadows and ends at sacred Gosaikunda Lake. Along the way, enjoy the rich local culture of the Tamang, Gurung, and Magar villages. Watch prayer flags fluttering against dramatic peaks, tour centuries-old monasteries, and experience genuine cultural hospitality at community-run lodges. The trek takes in breathtaking views of Langtang Lirung (7,234m), spine-tingling glaciers, and relaxing hot springs that dissolve body and soul.
