Itinerary
Expedition briefing, technical gear inspection, and team introduction.
Full day overland road travel tracking the Kali Gandaki deep into the west hill trails.
Begin walking through lower ethnic hillsides along minor agricultural stream valleys.
Walk past terraced rice slopes and cross suspension systems to the Magar settlement of Muri.
Follow a steep river canyon path through dense sub-tropical bamboo forests to Boghara.
Enter deep jungle wild zones, climbing rocky trails alongside the Myagdi Khola river.
The forest transitions to alpine scrub; settle into the dramatic camp directly under the West Face.
Rest day to ensure safety, tracking hydration levels under massive rock walls.
A challenging day negotiating loose moraine and rocky debris onto the active glaciated valley floor.
Walk across ice fields to reach the rugged Base Camp (4,748m), surrounded by frozen ice falls.
Rest day to check crampons and prepare for the upcoming technical pass crossings.
Ascend snow fields to cross French Pass, dropping down into the isolated Hidden Valley.
A safety buffer day to manage extreme alpine weather variations or explore ice fields.
Cross the final high pass and make a long descent back down onto the grassy slopes of Yak Kharka.
Descend down off the mountain ridges into the white-washed alleys of Marpha.
Easy flat walk along the wind-swept Kali Gandaki riverbed to Jomsom town.
Morning mountain flight to Pokhara, catching a flight back to the capital hotel.
End of expedition services; scheduled transfers to international terminal gates.
